Plantar fasciitis is characterized by inflammation of the tissue connecting the heel to the toes, causing heel pain; learn about its causes, symptoms, prevention, and treatment options for healthier feet.
Bunions are a joint deformity of the big toe joint causing pain and difficulty wearing shoes; treatment ranges from footwear changes to surgical correction with a typical recovery period of 2-3 months.
Toenail fungus, or onychomycosis, can lead to discoloration, thickening, shape change, brittleness, and odor in infected toenails.
Corns are thickened skin areas caused by friction or pressure, commonly on toes or feet soles, treatable by wearing proper footwear, using padding, or surgically removing them to prevent recurrence.
The standard of care for alleviating pain, reducing inflammation, and speeding recovery.
MLS laser therapy, a noninvasive regenerative medicine technique approved by the FDA, utilizes robotic laser technology to reduce inflammation, swelling, and pain through a combination of therapeutic wavelengths (808nm and 905nm). Unlike low-level laser therapy, MLS can induce strong anti-inflammatory, anti-edema, and analgesic effects simultaneously, making it an attractive option for patients seeking to avoid invasive treatments. Treatment typically involves 6–10 sessions delivered 2–3 times per week over 2–3 weeks, although factors such as insurance coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and patient compliance can affect success rates.
Studies have shown promising results for MLS therapy in treating various conditions, including tendinopathies. A 2017 study demonstrated a significant reduction in pain symptoms in patients with tendinopathies after MLS treatment, with a 56.9% decrease in mean VAS score. Similarly, a 2013 study on chronic Achilles tendinopathy found that MLS laser triple therapy promoted tissue trophism and reduced inflammatory response more effectively compared to other treatments, potentially minimizing operating costs and the need for complex interventions. Further research is needed to enhance patient outcomes and advocate for broader coverage of these noninvasive regenerative treatments.

Presenting our advanced Lunula® Laser, a cutting-edge low-level laser technology.
The Lunula® Laser targets onychomycosis (nail fungus) through the use of two true laser beams (red 635nm and violet 405nm – monochromatic, collimated, and coherent). The two wavelengths trigger a photochemical reaction, producing Reactive Oxygen Species which is converted to Hydrogen Peroxide – a natural antiseptic that kills onychomycosis.
In addition, the red 635nm wavelength induces the production of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) which is converted to Nitric Oxide – aiding the natural immune response in fighting the infection. This treatment is completely painless.

It is advised to undergo one session per week for four weeks of laser therapy to treat onychomycosis (fungal nails). Onychomycosis is highly contagious and can spread to healthy nails and even to other people. Depending on the severity and the number of nails involved, additional sessions may be necessary.
